Sep 16, 2020  AceShowbiz - "Cheer" star Jerry Harris has "categorically denied" the sexual misconduct claims made against him.   It was reported on Monday (14Sep20) that the 21-year-old cheerleader, who shot to fame thanks to his involvement in the Netflix docuseries, was under investigation amid reports he "solicited sexually explicit photos and sex from a minor."       However, a representative for Harris denied the claims in a statement to ABC News, saying, "We categorically dispute the claims made against Jerry Harris, which are alleged to have occurred when he was a teenager. A licensed practical nurse who previously worked at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Georgia has turned whistleblower.
According to CNN, Dawn Wooten filed a complaint to the Department of Homeland Security inspector general on Monday.
Wooten's complaint detailed a high rate of hysterectomies and alleged medical neglect.
She stated that while some of the detained women may have required a hysterectomy, 'everybody's uterus cannot be that bad.'
Wooten says she spoke with women who didn't fully understand why they had the medical procedure.
The complaint also alleges the facility didn't take necessary precautions to avoid the spread of Covid-19, which ultimately motivated Wooten to come forward.

S. Korea's Supreme Court increases maximum penalty for production of child pornography

South Korea's top court has sharply increased the maximum penalty for producing child pornography.
According to the Supreme Court Tuesday, the sentencing commission created its sentencing guidelines for digital sex crimes the previous day.
It proposed a total of eight special weighing factors and five special reduction factors for child sexual exploitation ...under the Children and Youth Sex Protection Law.
The recommended sentences for habitual offenders have been increased to a range of ten years and six months to 29 years, three months in prison.
Sentences for multiple offenses have been increased as well.
Causing suicides and family breakdowns can lead to increased sentences, ...while voluntary efforts like removing content can reduce jail time.
The proposed guidelines are scheduled to be finalized in December ...after receiving opinions, holding public hearings and making public announcements.
