Woman Accuses Trump For Defamation

E. Jean Carroll accused Donald Trump of raping her more than 23 years ago. According to Reuters, she said he raped her in a New York department store. Now she is suing the president over statement he made denying the attack and criticizing her for speaking out. Carroll said he lied about attacking her and “smeared her integrity, honesty and dignity.” She said he made up a “swarm of related lies” to explain why she would make up the attack.
