N. Korea supports ARF's efforts to realize peace on Korean peninsula through talks: Official

Staying with North Korea,.. on the peace front, though,... Pyeongyang says it supports global efforts to realize peace on the Korean Peninsula through diplomacy.
Marking its 20th anniversary of being part of the ASEAN Regional Forum,... Pak Jong-hak , the director of Asian affairs at North Korea's foreign ministry said in a statement Monday that such efforts are in line with the regime's own will to ensure lasting peace through dialogue and negotiations.
The ARF is the only multilateral security consultative body that North Korea participates in.
Ri Ho-jun, a Vietnam-based North Korean diplomat, was part of the ARF Senior Officials Meeting that was held virtually last week but did not make any remarks.
