Environmental groups raise concerns
A battle on the seas to deal with for SA's energy. The Department of Environmental Affairs, Forestry and Fisheries has revoked authorisation granted to Turkish-based Karpowership group. The deal would have sent five of its floating gas-burning power ships to local harbours to supply energy. GroundWork climate and energy justice campaign manager Avena Jacklin made a written submission to minister Barbara Creecy.
